Originally created in 2010 by legendary monster truck builder and driver, Dan Patrick, the Toxic Monster Truck is one of a select few he’s built as a complete turn-key machine. The quality and craftsmanship can be seen in every detail of this awesome performance vehicle.
For the first five years, Toxic Monster Truck was owned and operated by the Petri Brothers of Petri Motorsports in Sardinia, New York. They performed at monster truck shows throughout the Northeast and into Canada, delighting fans of all ages, and helping Toxic to secure its reputation in the monster truck community.
In 2015, Kris Gilbert of Gilbert Motorsports in Fairfax, VA. purchased Toxic to expand his family’s racing team. Kris continued to run the truck up and down the east coast, and its status as a fan favorite continued to grow.
In 2018, Toxic found a new home at Warped Motor Sports LLC, a father/son monster truck team from Bethesda, MD. Jay and Cory Snyder have a lot of experience and passion for monster trucks, and Toxic was the 4th truck they’d owned in their 20 years in the business, and it was by far the newest and most advanced! (Other trucks they’ve owned include The Undertaker, Screamin’ Demon and Illuminator.) Toxic’s schedule started to fill-up in 2019, as it continued to entertain fans with exciting performances!
Early in 2020, Jay and Cory reconnected with Rick and Ryan Disharoon of The Metal Shop in Delmar, DE. and a deal was struck to fabricate a brand-new, state-of-the-art, turn-key monster truck – and the Toxic Monster Truck 2.0 was created! A truly modern and impressive machine in every way, the new truck incorporates the knowledge and experience that the Disharoons have gained in their lifetime of monster trucking. From the reinforced chassis design, to a bigger motor, to the advanced electronics, the new truck is heavy-duty and extremely bad-ass!
