A look behind the scenes as trucks are chopped, cut, rebuilt and reassembled for the new season. Some teams will strip these machines down to bare chassis while others just perform necessary maintenance, updates and put in fresh motors for the new year. Did you know a team can spend more on parts and maintenance in a calendar year than a truck originally cost to build new? Add to that the cost of the tractor trailer going up and down the road and the crew and this becomes a very expensive occupation! All this work will come to fruition when the rubber hits the dirt for the first time in 2019 at the Prescott Valley Event Center in Prescott Valley, AZ January 11 & 12, 2019.
