We regret to inform our fans in Youngstown that the Toughest Monster Truck Tour, originally scheduled for January 31 and February 1, 2014, will not be returning to the Covelli Centre until 2015, due to a request from the Covelli Centre so that they can accommodate the return of legendary artist Elton John. Instead of the TMTT, Elton John and his band will be performing at the Covelli Centre on Saturday, February 1st. If you bought your tickets with cash at the box office or at an outlet, you can get a refund at the point of purchase. Anyone who used a credit card to purchase will automatically be refunded this week.
It was a tough decision for us but the Covelli Centre didn’t want to turn down what might turn out to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to host Sir Elton John.
“The Toughest Monster Truck Tour and Thunderbird Entertainment have always been great partners of the building, and this only proves their dedication to the future development of this partnership,” said Covelli Centre’s Executive Director, Eric Ryan. “We are lucky to have a show that has been so successful in the past, agree to reschedule their date so that we can bring Sir Elton John back to Youngstown.”
The Toughest Monster Truck Tour will return in January or February of 2015. Tickets for Elton John will go on-sale this Friday, December 6th at 10am.
